The robotic arms seamlessly transfer racks from the reagent retort to the dedicated paraffin retort, freeing the first retort for a new batch without interrupting workflow. This allows simultaneous processing of large surgical tissues and biopsies in a single run—ideal for overnight cycles—without compromising quality.

With a dedicated wax retort, MAGNUS eliminates time-consuming wax pumping and cleaning cycles, preventing clogs and ensuring consistent performance. Small biopsies and larger specimens, such as fatty tissues like colon and breast, can be rapidly processed during the day or overnight, supporting same-day diagnosis and minimizing workload peaks.
